User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

Mail received in my Inbox gets lost if I try to drag and drop the email(s) to
the Held folder or the Trash folder. I cannot retrieve the message, even if it
is unread. Restarting TB 0.8 doesn't help. I love TB as my mail client, and
would hate to have to use a different one (you guys spoiled me!)

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Retrieved mail into inbox from ISP's server (broadband cable)
2. Read the mail in Inbox, try to move to Held folder for storage
3. Mail disappears! Cannot retrieve it and TB restart doesn't bring it back.

Actual Results:
Mail is lost and cannot be located in any folder. Restarting TB does not help.

Expected Results:
Mail should have been moved from Inbox to Held or Trash folder using drag and drop.
this is a dup, I believe. You need to update to a newer .8 build of thunderbird,
and delete the .msf file(s) for the folders that contain messages you can't see
- the messages should appear next time you open the folder. The .msf files are
in your tbird user profile directory.

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
