User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 This sort of thing has been going on since earlier versions of Mozilla Suite. In any event, my Windows crashed, and when I rebooted and started Firefox (0.10.1), my homepage was gone, other settings had been reset to default, and my bookmarks were mostly missing. I say "mostly" because half of them were still there. I went into the \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ directory and noticed that the bookmarks.bak file was exactly the same size as the corrupted one! So, it appears that Firefox backed up the corrupted file! I am not about to attempt to reproduce this problem, but it's been going on for other Mozilla browsers for some time. If Windows crashes or the computer is shut down suddenly for some reason, profile data is lost. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
