User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041016 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041016 Firefox/1.0

When I visit page http://www.upc.cz and click on the flash animation on the
right hand side of the screen, Firefox either freezes or crashes. This is
probably caused by Firefox popup blocker, because if I enable popups for
www.upc.cz I can click on the flash anim just fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.upc.cz
2. Click on one of the flash animations on the right side

Actual Results:
The browser freezes or crashes.

Expected Results:
The browser should displat the animation.

Possibly a regression caused by a recent popup blocker fix. I remember this
worked few days ago.

WFM, sortof

extremely bad server, loading the mainpage took 5 minutes (I have 2M2 adsl)
1. there are 3 flash parts on the right side
- the 1st opens a malformed XHTML page that only shows text (bad mimetype)
- the 2nd works fine, opens a new page in the same tab
- the 3rd keeps trying to load a page, after another 10 minutes waiting it
wasn't any further than displaying the UPC logo and still loading (at the end I
gave up and closed the page).

If that internetprovider can't even use a proper server I wouldn't bother to
subscribe ;-)

This is really worse than I thought, it seems it has nothing to do with flash
animation. First of all I should mention that I had tried this on two computers
running WinXP Pro SP2 and clean install of Firefox with a clean profile. In both
cases FF either crashed or froze.

Alternate steps to reproduce:

1. Go to http://www.upc.cz
2. Wait until the page fully loads, including the popup information bar
3. Now LEFT click on any link on the page

I've checked latest Tinderbox FF and Mozilla trunk builds and they are not
vulnerable.
Changing bug summary to better fit the problem.
Version -> Branch
Summary: Popup blocker freezes or crashes Firefox when clicking on flash animation on this page → Popup blocker freezes or crashes Firefox when left clicking a link
Version: unspecified → 1.0 Branch
