26510 - Plays havoc with stat counter

I noticed this bug last week.  I use the Hitbox stat counter and m13 duplicates 
visitors.  One visit created 9 users, this is also the amount of times that the 
dos window underneath the browser window reported an error with the history 
function.  I believe this is time based (the longer you stay on the site, the 
more hits are rung up on the counter.
