I found this when I tried to verify the bug 24010.

When you try to copy the non-ascii characters from an extrenal app to Composer or Plain text editor,
the characters will paste twice.

Steps of reproduce
1. Using Notepad to type accent characters or Japanese characters
2. Select the string you typed in notepad
3. Paste to mozilla Composer or Plain text editor

Notice the characters will be pasted twice.

This happens in 2000020410 Win32 and Mac build.  I could not reproduce this in 2000020408 Linux build.
I found out this happens if you use the short cut key.  If you use the menu View|Paste, this does not happen.
