If you use the Simple GNOME theme, and then access a menu the selected item will
be completely white and therefore not readible

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
This is not going to be fixed for 1.0, but may even already be fixed on trunk. 
Sun is working on better theme integration.
