When we fetch a message from the IMAP server, the server may have other things
to tell us about, like the arrival of new messages. From a user experience POV,
it might be nice if we set aside the unsolicited responses until the message had
been downloaded, and then processed the unsolicited responses. This might make
the product appear more responsive to the user.
