now that tbird supports multiple RSS accounts (see bug 255473), I can now drag and drop feeds btwn RSS accounts. this doesn't move the feed, but instead copies the feed. 1. have two RSS accounts, let's call them RSS-1 and RSS-2. 2. have at least one feed subscribed in RSS-1. 3. drag the feed from RSS-1 to RSS-2. note that this copies the feed to RSS-2. the articles are readable in both. 4. in RSS-2, open Manage Subscriptions. results: the feed dragged into RSS-2 doesn't appear. expected: should it appear? or, should we prevent d'n'd instead?

I'm also unable to get new articles for a feed that has been d'n'd into another RSS account. (still no js errors.) let me know if I should file a separate bug for that. here's a feed which updates frequently (to test with): http://www.livejournal.com/stats/latest-rss.bml

sarah, I wouldn't spend too much time testing multiple RSS accounts. I think this is a very minor thing that very few people are going to use. As long as you can add feeds to the 2nd account that's fine. not a 1.0 stopper.

I have one RSS account for Mozilla stuff, and one for personal stuff - friends and so on. Is that not a reasonable way to organise things? And I hit this problem - it was a week before I realised I was missing everyone's posts, because DnD appears to work but you never get any more articles. If multiple accounts don't work properly and are unsupported, we should make it impossible to create more than one, by disabling the option in the Account Creation wizard. Gerv
