The Firefox informed me that I have updates available, so I click update.
Updates are then downloaded, installed and then I need to restart Firefox. I did
that, but the update button is still there, and when I click there, it shows the
same updates as the previous... I click there, and the same thing happening,
only faster...

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Results:  
The Update button should have gone, or Firefox wouldnt notify me on new updates

Your install of Firefox 1.0 failed somehow.

Could you try to uninstall Firefox 0.10.1 and install again with this download:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%201.0.exe
