I like to be able to keep track of my task progress by checking the "Completed" 
checkbox.  I do NOT want to simply delete them immediately upon completing 
them, as I need to report my progress to management.  But as soon as I add a 
new task, all task items become unchecked and I have to assess each item again 
to make sure I completed it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. With a couple of tasks listed, check one as done.
2. Add a new task.

Actual Results:  
The task item that was checked as completed will become unchecked once the task 
list refreshes with the new task.  It does not matter if I choose to Hide 
Completed Tasks or not.  If hidden, it simply re-appears because it has become 
unchecked.

Expected Results:  
Task Items checked as done should remain checked.

I was not able to reproduce this on a local calendar, so I suspect it is a
duplicate of bug 239779 (general remote) or bug 232359 (webdav specific).

I cannot reproduce this bug either on Sunbird 0.2rc2.  Are you still having this
problem on the latest builds or should this bug be marked resolved?

I too have the same bug. I have a local calendar with autopublishing to remote 
server via FTP set.
