27853 - No "movemail" or similar in Incoming Server type

"Incoming Server" setting in e-mail account setup wizard has no "movemail"
option. - From other information on mozilla.org, I gather that this method of
fetching e-mail messages is still supposed to be supported.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select Tasks->Mail as user who has never used Mozilla's mailer
2.Wizard is started outomatically.
3.Fill inn the necessary info and press Next to step to server settings.

Actual Results:  Incoming server type may be set to "POP Mail Server", "IMAP
Mail Server" or "News"
Expected Results:  Expected "movemail" or similar as well.

in order for this to happen we need to:
a) start using categories to enumerate server types
b) reflect that category into RDF
c) build the html select (or popup widget) from RDF

I guess this depends on movemail actually being implemented.

I have patches which implement a Movemail option
for the front-end.

Of course, they don't back sense without a Movemail
back-end.  I'm working on that.

adam, we can't just blindly add movemail to the frontend just yet because 
windows and mac do not have movemail, I really want to do this with categories, 
etc.

How about adding support for mail retrieval using an external application
instead. I'm thinking about something similar to the MoveMail->Use an external
application in Communicator, only it could be a lot more general than that.

alecf, I've landed adam's backend work for movemail, so now there is a
"movemail" incoming server type.

as far as the account manager / account wizard ui goes, I've logged bug #56669
 to track that.  (I have your comment about using categories in that bug.)

I think you can mark this fixed.
