Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 I have lots of Groups (aka. Distribution Lists) set up in Outlook Express. There is no way of importing them into Thunderbird. Plain old Mozilla couldn't do it either. I don't have time to re-build all my Lists manually. There are hundreds of addresses involved. As long as this remains impossible, I cannot switch to Thunderbird. Sorry guys! I keep trying. I tried switching to Mozilla in July 2004, and now (Jan. 2005)I tried again, with Thunderbird. But you are not making it easy for people to switch. Also, even if I re-built all my lists manually, there is no way to tell which address is in which list. When I open the Properties for a record, there is no mention of Lists in it, even if the record has been placed on a list. Outlook Express has had this feature for years! If I open a record in Outlook Express, I can see all the Lists that the record appears on. How come you can't replicate this feature? If you want people to switch, you should provide at least a comparable product, not one that lacks features I have been using for years! Reproducible: Always Actual Results: 1. After imprting the complete Address Book from Outlook Express, all my Lists are now empty! 2. When I place someone on a list, there is absolutely no indication in that person's record that he/she is on a list (or which one). Expected Results: 1. It should have imported all my Lists from the Windows Address Book. 2. Every record should show all the lists that a person has been place on.
