If you use Excel's mail feature to send files as attachment you'll see a temp
file as attachment instead of the expected .xls file. Opening this temp file in
Excel shows the file is probably saved attachment corretly but with the wrong
name and extension.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an Excel-document or create a new one (you don't have to save)
2. Select in Excel: File > Send to > Mail Recipient (as Attachment)
3. Look at the attachments after the Thunderbird compose windows opens
Actual Results:  
The attachment has the name *.tmp (* is random and most of the time has only 2
characters starting with an A)

Expected Results:  
The attachment should have the name 'documentname'.xls

I am using Excel 2003 and Thunderbird 1.0NL (languagepack)

This was fixed some days after TB 1.0. 

Please try the latest aviary branch build (latest TB 1.0 build) from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/latest-0.9/
