User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050202 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-4) Build Identifier: debian thunderbird version 1.0 (20050116) when trying to send an attachment with a message (no html option for this account) i get: "There was a problem including the file ... in the message. Would you like to continue sending the message without this file ?" why could this be ? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. write an email 2. add an attachment 3 [review]. click the send button Actual Results: the error message appears Expected Results: the email should be sent.
Do you attach the file per drag & drop? Then it seems to be a duplicate of bug 66373.

right, thanks ostgote. so this bug was noted on 2001-01-23 a solution was proposed on 2002-07-26 and nobody is working on fixing it over 4 years later ??? is thunderbird still in develpment and do you know by whom ? is there a dev mailinglist ? kind regards philippe
