Select Bookmarks ... Manage Bookmarks.
Right Click on a bookmark.
Select any item.
None work.

I'm using winNT build 2000021708.

not a dupe. Bug 17333 says, "The context menus for bookmarks in the Manage 
Bookmarks window do not contain a properties item". While it's true - the bug 
doesn't say anything about the context menus not working.

Bug 17333 has a title that is misleading is all I can tell.

very true. I didn't read the whole thing. Plus your title was misleading. I thought I was duping the fact that context menus didn't 
appear at all which was feature work I thought was noticed circa bug 17333.

This bug is preventing other work from being done.  Any chance of getting 
someone to look at it soon?

I'm checking in a workaround (as described in bug # 26402, which this bug is now 
a DUP of) to get bookmark context menus working.

rjc, are you sure you meant bug 26402, or was that a typo? Otherwise I must be missing something.

The workaround described in bug # 26402 is what I used to fix context menu 
commands on bookmarks.

In detail, the workaround is to set the "oncommand" attribute AFTER adding in 
the menuitem node into the content model, so that the JavaScript associated with 
the "oncommand" will be compiled.  Previously, "oncommand" was being set BEFORE 
adding in the menuitem node, but due to bug # 26402 the JavaScript wouldn't be 
compiled, thus preventing context menu commands on bookmarks from working if 
you tried to select one.

So, this bug (specifically for bookmark context menus) is fixed, but only 
because we're working around the true bug (which is # 26402).
