I am using FireFox's default theme, which appears to just use the gtk2 theme. My gtk2 theme is ThinAndMild. Non-https address show up in a white font color. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
You're using a very old version of Firefox. Is this fixed for you in Firefox 1.0 or trunk? This was fixed on Windows in 249680.
