Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0+ (Download Feb 22/05)
Any time I am downloading an item via download manager, if I close (with red dot
or cmd-w) all open browser windows (not including the download manager) I am
then unable to open a new browser window. Click the icon in the dock, or in
applications, it bounces once then doesn't load. Or if I try to go through file
open new window, it won't even do anything after I click "file" (except change
to highlite colour). Only way to stop this from happening is to wait til the
end of the download then you can open a new window (no need to exit application).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. begin download, any file, any location.
2. while downloading close all browser windows (with either red dot or cmd-w)
3. try to open new browser window (via icon in dock, icon in applications folder
or via file menu).
Actual Results:
Still won't open a new browser window with out waiting for download to finish
(or cancel download).
Expected Results:
It should allow you to still open a new browser window by either clicking the
icon in the dock, or by going to file > new window (or shortcut cmd-w).
I'm using 10.3.8. Also tried offical 1.0 release... and the 1.0+ release
(downloaded february 22nd).
