User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1
IIRC, there used to be a "Cookie Manager" entry on the Tools menu
that let you do things like "Allow current site to set cookies".
This was highly useful when you got an error page from the site
about cookies being required for functionality.
As it stands now you have to go into Tools/Options/Cookies/Exceptions
and then search a huge (in my case) list of blocked sites to find
the one you're on. This would be marginally acceptable if you could
sort the list of exceptions by second-level domain, but as it is
currently implemented it's impossible to even FIND the current site
in the list (I have about 800 entries in the exceptions list).
I searched the online help but there doesn't seem to be any other
way to quickly find an entry for a specific site.
This is a significant REDUCTION in functionality from prior versions.
I'm marking this "Major" because IMHO what used to be a major feature
is now "broken" (i.e. missing).
Reproducible: Always

This has not been in Firefox, unless it was prior to Phoenix 0.5
There's upcoming feature work for per-site settings management, but that's not
implemented yet, however it won't take this form.
DUPE of a few INVALID and/or WONTFIX bugs.

OK, I remember now. This was/is a feature in the Mozilla suite
browser (I haven't used Mozilla since I moved to Firefox several
months ago).
The functionality I described is extremely useful, and
there should be some simple way in Firefox to accomplish
this task when you've previously blocked cookies for a site
and later decide you want to unblock them while visiting the
site.
Should I resubmit this as a feature request?

There is pending feature work that will handle a number of things along this
line, not just cookies, but plugin objects, images, javascript, and possibly
more. But it will be a much more cohesive UI than the Seamonkey solution.

Please go ahead and mark this as a duplicate (I'd do it myself but
I don't know the appropriate bug number).

Duping to bug 222559, which has a similar focus.
