Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Find a page that allows you to upload files through HTML, and click on the browse button. Leave the dialog open, while start anothe instance of firefox, (eg Windows-R and type firefox, click on the icon, etc). The new instance would not finish loading, while the home page loads, eg the links bar under the URL bar is not loaded, and you can't do certain functions, while some functions remain in working order. The page that I used is limited to students only, so it does not make a good example. The page is served as https, instead of http, and I don't have a known source of http page that allows uploads to test. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Find a webpage that allows uploads, preferably an https page 2.Click on the Browse button to open the upload dialog 3.start a new instance of firefox 4.Observe that new instance doesn't do much, except it responds to close. Actual Results: Bookmark toolbar is not loaded properly, clicking on bookmarks does not go to bookmarks. Edit->select all does not select all. turning off the bookmark toolbar and restarting does not solves the problem. Opening the Tools->option seems to fixes the problem. Close button works. Swap to instance with the dialog and canceling it, and then swap back seems to also fixes the problem Expected Results: Should've loaded the bookmark toolbar properly, all menu function should work properly. First noticed after finish upgrading Firefox 1.0.1, occured roughly 15hours before filing the bug.
