In one particular case, I accessed this URL: https://www.creditprofile.transunion.ca/products/single/upsell.jsp?mn=5000001 and a popup from the offending URL: http://isg10.casalemedia.com/ appeared, even though I have them blocked in my preferences. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit the webpage indicated. 2. 3. Actual Results: Often, but not always, a popup will appear, even though I have them blocked in my preferences. Expected Results: Blocked the popup.
I don't see any ads on the given page. But casalemedia.com is like fastclick.com a large ad and popup network. I don't find a page with casalemedia popup ads, so I can not tell if they use the same flash trick as others recently (see Bug 282931).

Happened using linux version of Firefox 1.0.1 too Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 on snpoes.com http://www.snopes.com/crime/clever/cigarson.asp Firefox said it prevented a popup from opening, but the popup opened anyway. Since this is not on Windows XP, suggest OS should be changed to "All".

on http://www.ebaumsworld.com/ there's a popup sometimes too (with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2)
