(Keywords: regression)

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; NetCaptor 7.5.2; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.0.2

Thunderbird 1.0.2 no longer properly traverses Window's .lnk shortcuts in the
Save dialog box. Instead, I am prompted to save the file as the "blah.lnk"
file itself.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a shortcut to a folder (mine is on my Desktop)
2. send an email with an attachment to yourself
3. double click the attachment
4 [review]. choose "Save to disk"
5. navigate to your shortcut and double click

Actual Results:
Test.lnk already exists. Do you want to replace it?

Expected Results:
The Save dialog should navigate to the directory pointed to by the shortcut

This worked fine in Thunderbird 1.0
This bug also appears in Mozilla 1.7.6, at least when attempting to save a web page.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a shortcut to a folder
2. visit a legitimate web page
3. select File->Save Page As...
4. navigate to your shortcut and double click

Same results as reported.

This occuring on Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003. I tested Mozilla 1.7.5
and this problem does not exist with that version.
could any of the fixes that landed in 1.02 cause this?
