The notification popup that appears in the bottom right corner of the screen to
notify that downloads are complete or a new version of something is available to
download continues to go away even if the mouse pointer is over it. This means
you are frequently trying to click on a moving target.
It should instead remain up while the mouse is over it, and if it was already in
the process of going away, it should immediately pop back up. This would be
similar in spirit to how the new mail desktop alert in Outlook 2003 works
(ignoring for the moment that their's fades away while FireFox's slides away).

Really, this is a Toolkit bug, but it doesn't have an appropriate component.
