alexandre, I am having problems understanding your problem with firefox. Can you
write what your problem is in your native language and perhaps we can get
someone to translate it. All I manage to understand is something to do with
WinDVD, and something to do with moving the mouse. Thanks!
*** Bug 290615 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
from alexandre on bug 290615:

o problema é o seguinte, quando tento ver filmes usando o programa windvd e
usar o firefox, o fire in fox não funciona ele simplismente some e so aaprece
com movimentações do mouse, é uma merda... o ie funciona normal, isto acontece
com windows xp e windows 2003 start q foi aonde testei... obrigado...

translated loosely:

the problem is as follows, when I try to watch movies using the program windvd
and to use firefox, firefox does not function it simply adds crap with mouse
movements... IE works fine, this happens with windows xp and windows 2003 was
where I tested... thanks...
and Firefox's charset autodetect seems to choke on this... view in UTF-8 and it
looks fine.
looks more like a video driver issue...
Summary: win dvd e fire in fox not fuctions → firefox doesn't redraw itself correctly when windvd is running

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
