found while using opt comm bits 2000022308 on winNT; not a problem on linux or mac, oddly enough. the color swatches in the Default Page Colors section (in the Composer prefs panel) are blank (not picked). these swatches correspond to the colors for Normal Text, Link Text, Active Link Text, Followed Link Text, and Background.
Are there any other color picker preferences (Navigator colors?) which do work and this one doesn't? Does the color picker work after you pick a color? What about the color picker in Composer's Page Colors dialog--do those render? Thanks!
They don't work for me. I thought your worked. We never hooked ours up so we commented pane out.
i only noticed what the initial colors were when i opened up the Composer prefs pane. ie, that they're not initially set on winNT. i can select the colors from the color picker. whether or not their functional, i haven't checked --sujay? if the functionality is broken, i'd file another bug (but under Editor component, methinks). this one is just noting the initial appearance... feel free to downgrade to minor/trivial. but if you decide to disable (i'm not clear on the Editor specs), do let us know. thx!

sounds like a duplicate of #21160; the Windows color picker/swatch doesn't seem to be working properly. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 21160 ***
