If the alias part of an email address contains a dot, then the part to the left
of the dot is checked by the spell checker.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type message with text "some message with [e-mail] in text"
2. Click "Spell"

Actual Results:  
Spell checker suggests "usu" instead of "uuu".  "[e-mail]" is ignored by the
spell checker.

Expected Results:  
All of "[e-mail]" should be ignored.
