This is a rare occurrence, however, I sometimes find that a folder
has, with no provocation, become a subfolder of another filder.

That is, a folder list like

Main
   Inbox
   Sent
   Junk   
   Trash
   A
   B
   C
   D

will suddenly become

Main
   Inbox
   Sent
   Junk   
      B
   Trash
   A
   C
   D
