Maybe I could mark a person's birthday, but then I would have an automated functionality to send an email to a person. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Actual Results: Satisfy users.
Fareed, Emailing should already work if you have Calendar installed for Thunderbird. Then you can set an email alarm on the day in question. The bug for email in Sunbird/ calendar for Firefox is bug 237148. If you're asking for email support in one of these versions, please resolve this bug as a duplicate of bug 237148. If you're having a problem emailing events with Calendar in Thunderbird, please elaborate on it. Thanks.
