In emails, I include new lines between my paragraphs.  Example text:

Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.
 Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.
 Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  

Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.
 Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.
 Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.

Once I hit send and go back and look at the message in the sent window, this is
how it shows up:

Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.
 Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.
 Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  Paragraph 1 example text.  
Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.
 Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.
 Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.  Paragraph 2 example text.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Compose message with new lines between paragraphs.
2.  Send mail.
3.  Look at message in sent mail folder.

Actual Results:  
Some new lines have been stripped, running paragraphs together.  Some have not.

Expected Results:  
Left the message just how it looked in the compose window.

I'm marking this as major because messages should not be mauled upon send.

Works for me with both plain-text and HTML messages. Reporter, are you testing
this with a clean profile and the latest build of Thunderbird?

This *is* a bug.  The workaround is to make sure you don't have any trailing 
spaces before the newline character at the end of the paragraph.
