User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050711 Firefox/1.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050711 Firefox/1.0.5 Autofill/autocomplete will suggest the text ``12345'' after you have typed all the chars ``12345'' It should make the suggestion after ``1234'' but once the fifth char is typed it becomes redundant and should not be suggested. This is quite annoying when you want to fill a form with a single char, you type it and autofill suggests it because you entered it before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.fill a form with text and submit it 2.fill the sam from with the same text 3.auto fill will suggest the text you just typed This is redundant.
Reproducible with Deer Park a2, also mentioned in the first part of bug 267960.
This is a duplicate. I know that the decision was to show the same result in the autocomplete popup. I think it is a bad decision and it is indeed redundant (and not what IE6 is doing).
