304171 - firefox plugin finder keeps wanting to download Quicktime which i have the latest version

Out of the blue, firefox plugin finder pops up and wants to download quicktime.
I try and do it automatic but it sends me to do it manually.  I do it manually
and it keeps giving me the same thing and it keeps poping up when i know i have
the latest version of quicktime on my computer.

1. it happens on certain websites when i try to open up profiles of people to
look at

Actual Results:  
it keeps doing it

Expected Results:  
found the plugin and downloaded it automatically, its just very annoying
