Vowels for Devanagari script are not handled properly. See http://devanaagarii.net/
The "matras" or vowels are to be handled differently based on previous input
sequence (kerning) and that does not happen. Safari renders Devanagari script
fonts (for Hindi/Sanskrit/Marathi languages) correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox and Safari
2. Point both to http://devanaagarii.net/
3.

Actual Results:  
Safari renders the fonts correctly, Firefox does not.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should perform corrent kerning and render the fonts as in Safari.

I'm not sure what content you see on http://devanaagarii.net/ since the "why
can't I see the Hindi section?" content I see sounds like they are sniffing and
delivering varying content, but what I see links right back to bug 121540
comment 99 where jshin mentions bug 205476, both of which seem to cover the
Devanagari situation on OSX pretty well. (We don't need a separate Firefox bug,
because the code that renders web pages is all shared between Mozilla products,
and thus in the Core product bug listings.)
