Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 When one window has a dialogue box open (eg 'save as'), and then focus is swapped to another firefox window which has several tabs, then switching between tabs using ctrl-tab/shift-control-tab will show the web page in the main window, but will NOT change the address shown in the address bar, and sometimes the tab header/title will not be put in the foreground. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open FFox, and open two tabs, pointing to two different web addresses. 2. enter ctrl-n to open another window of firefox. 3. in this new window, choose File-Save as. 4 with the dialogue still active, switch to original Firefox window. 5 try to swap between the two tabs using control-[shift]-tab Actual Results: several things to observe here: the web page is displayed in main display, but the web address displayed in the address bar never changes from the address used as the first foreground tab. Usually, the correct tab in the ‘tab bar’ (?) is not in the ‘foreground’ (not in front, and not in bold). But note that sometimes it does . (see also notes below). occassionally page icon DOES appear in the address bar. Expected Results: The address bar should change contents: All web pages switched to should have their correct web address displayed. Compare and contrast behaviour when the dialogue box is not opened in the other window. There appears to be slightly different behaviour when choosing a different dialogue box (eg File Open) in the other window. Possibly other dialogue boxes as well? I haven't tried. Reproduced in FF 1.06 on XP as well as 1.07 on windows 2000. Moving the mouse alters behaviour. Moving mouse to over the tab (NOT clicking). brings the page title/tab into the foreground/makes it bold. Using the mouse to switch tabs will always have the correct tab in the foreground, but the address in the address bar will NEVER change as long as the dialogue box is open.
