The ldap search disregards the socks proxy settings. I am behind a firewall and
wanting to use an internet-exposes ssl ldap server. It doesn't work with
thunderbird, whereas my imap reading, smtp sending and http image downloading do.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set a socks proxy in options
2. setup an ldap address book
3. try to use it

Actual Results:  
No addresses are found. Adding a local tunnel via ssh to the outside ldap server
works, but having the ldap server use the socks proxy does not.

Expected Results:  
Used the socks proxy settigns
