Sort icons on mail grid column headers are inverted - bug 227455 is filed for Windows,
but the same bug is applicable to MacOS.
the sort-triangle meaning can be found on MacOS Finder,
the point being the smaller one, the base the larger one.
This is meaningful for dates, names etc.
Thunderbird should comply to the behaviour on the OS and the expected UI behaviour thereof.

Lets keep this discussion in bug 227455. If it gets fixed mac would probably get
it's fix too.
