Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 1.0.7 (20050923)
Many emails in my inbox have the date/time stamp listed as 01/01/1970 00:00
They are all system generated emails from a software agent written by one of
our developers. He does not think the problem lies with his code as they
display properly in OE 6
An example of the message source code is below. The same problem does not
happen in Outlook Express V6

V/dupe.
I really disagree with the assertion that the sending server is behaving correctly because Outlook accepted the content.
I'd agree with the idea that: Thunderbird or Seamonkey:MailNews should parse it, because Outlook parsed it.
I was working in an environment recently, where .NET was used to produce Date headers, and it produced headers that only worked w/ Microsoft clients.
