Multi-tasking seems to cause problems to the Bookmarks Toolbar.
After accessing a different application (Firefox can be minimized or just in the
background, not visible), then bringing Firefox back to the top causes my
bookmarks on the Bookmark Toolbar to collapse, and only be accessible by
clicking on the "<<" symbol on the far left of the Bookmark Toolbar.
This does not occur everytime I minimize the browser and reaccess, only
periodically.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
The problem occurs intermittently, I have not been able to pin down exactly when
and how. However, from what I have noticed...
1. With Firefox open, and multiple links in your bookmarks toolbar, switch
windows to another application. (Not sure if it matters if we simply switch
windows, or actually minimize Firefox)
2. After some time, bring the Firefox window back to the top. The bookmarks in
the toolbar are now gone, and only accessible by clicking on the "<<" symbol in
the far left of the Bookmark Toolbar.
Actual Results:
The bookmarks on the toolbar are removed.
Expected Results:
The bookmarks on the toolbar should remain.
I have only noticed this problem on Windows XP, not on Windows 2000 or Red Hat
linux.
I have attached a screenshot showing what the Bookmarks Toolbar normally looks like:

When the problem occurs again, I will take a screeshot and update this bug report.

Sounds good. I did search but came up empty.
I just reproduced it:
