I updated several of the toolbar icons to ensure some of the issues users expressed where looked at. Aswell as improve the consistency and overall look for the final release.
Maintoolbar:
- the circular navigation icons now have a smoother and fresher look.
- the refresh icon is now more detailed
- the home icon now has a brown door instead of a green one, to make it look less as if green is our style color.
- the bookmark manager now has a lighter feel.
Download manager:
- the circular navigation icons now have a smoother and fresher look.
- the cancel button now looks more like the circular icons.
- the remove icon now has the same size as the otheer circular icons.
- we now have a custom clear all icon instead of using one from apple.
Preference window:
- the appearance icon has been updated to be clearer.
- downloads icon is now more colorfull.
- history icon is now more colorfull.
- webfeatures icon was slightly updated to try and better convey the message.
If I have more time I will look at some of the other icons. But these where the ones that I really wanted to be updated.
This batch of icons will need size optimization, simon could you tell me how you did that previously?

Wow... that green is bright (that's actually my only comment... everything else looks great). ;)

Hmm, too candy-bright for my tastes, and the reload arrow looks a bit fuzzy.
Ok the fuzzyness in the reload icon was caused by a reszie and compression of the preview image, real icon is sharp as can be.
I will attach a new preview with the reds and green toned down a bit. I just made it a bit extreme just to see how far I could go ;)
I update the colors to be a bit less fruity.

Jasper, I agree with all of the icon changes except those which are "green" (back, forward, pause). The green just feels too bright. I much prefer the current color.
Can we see the proposed new color side by side with the "old" color, but both using the new style? (I believe you're using a gradient instead of a "gloss" style now.)
FWIW, I really can't tell v1 from v2 if I load them in two tabs without paying attention; they're still really bright to me (and I thought the evolution of Aqua was towards more muted colors, less in-your-face with each OS version).
Also, the about:history favicon and the History collection use a separate, miniature version of the History icon, so they'll be out of sync if the big one goes blue.

Ok so what you are saying is that the green used in v2 is to green, you want it to be more yellowish like we had it previously.
But like I said, I changed that on purpose because the green we had was very muddy/dirty because there ewss so much yellow in it. So the idea here was to clean that up a bit.
Could some one say why they don't like it instead of just saying they don't like it? I have a very specific reason to change it, any thing against the idea of making the colors a bit more pure?

One issue here is that the current green color matches the green in the bookmark icons (of where there are a lot, on the bookmarks toolbar). If we change the green of the main buttons, we should change the green of the bookmark icons, but then they might become even more intrusive than they are now.
It's not clear to me why we need "purer" colors. You have the full RGB palette; why not use it?

Well for me one of the reasons to redo some of the toolbar icons was to ensure that the colors would be changed a little. You see the blue and red circle icons where pretty clean while the green navigation icons where a bit yellow-ish. But the this was just a subjective opinion. On the other hand I also wanted too look at the green asa lot of users complained about it. So I'd like to see where we have come now as a trial to see what we can do. And I guess the result is that changing the green is not something we should do. So I will attach the v3 with the green nav icons in the green color they where before.

FWIW, unless you got a lot of other negative feedback about the existing green icons, I wouldn't worry much about the handful of folks in the forum who wanted bright, in-your-face green :-) They're a small subset of the Camino userbase--and a subset that is capable of using alternate icon sets and, in some cases, even making their own icons to satisfy their desire for said green color.

v3 I changed the following.
- the green is back to the tone it was before
- red is slightly less pure/bright compared to v2

I really hope it's good now as I'd really like to see this in 1.0b1 so we can see if any users go wild opun this change ;)

Those work for me. My only comment is that some people might look at the download cleanup ("brush") icon, and think that it's a hula skirt.
I just dumped v3 into my Camino app and will run with them for a while, but a couple of brief comments from install+first look:
-Generally they look good :-)
-"Huge" filesize; tiffutil -cat helps reduce them to 1/6th original size
-None of the new main toolbar icons have smaller versions (is this intentional, or are you going to add them once the large size designs get final approval?)
-The new versions in small mode (my default) are a bit smaller than the old ones with their separate small versions
-The green buttons (fwd/back especially, but maybe pause) in small mode don't appear to have smooth edges--see screenshot--(they also look really blurry in the "Customize" sheet (which always shows the full size versions, so I'm puzzled, since in full size on the actual toolbar they're fine...)
-dl_stop.tif is misnamed; the existing icon is dl_cancel.tif (which is also the label/name of the function)
-prefPane icons are all misnamed; the existing icons are Appearance.tiff, Downloads.tiff, History.tiff, WebFeatures.tiff
-The brighter colors of the prefs toolbar icons are still a bit jarring to me :-)

Yeah before this goes in it needs some serious optimisation
> -None of the new main toolbar icons have smaller versions (is this intentional,

Only the navigation icons will have this and yes I will wait before doing this on approval of the colors.

Yup, that will be fixed when I add the special 24 px icons.

No idea here, probably some apple issue.

Yeah those need to be named correctly with capitals (who thought of doing that?)

Hm I didn't use any specific bright colors, but in general yeah I intruduced a bit more color in those icons as a lot of them where just grey.

The new package including:
- an altered version of the Clear All icon, showing more stick and making it less like a hoola skurt.
- all the round navigational icons have a special 24px tiff page to ensure that when the icons are used in the toolbars small mode they look crisp.
- all the icons have been size optimized using tiffutil
- all the names should be correct now
- included the new progress spinner icons solving bug 152292 and bug 316124.
- also included an optimzed version of the dl_unknown icon
- also included the dl_file icon which nick kreeger will be using in an opcomming patch so we don't have to aks the system for the blank file icon.

They all look great here!
The only concern I have left is that our three history icons should probably be in sync:
- History.tiff (the prefPane, now blue)
- history.tif (the toolbar icon, still grey)
- historyicon.tif (favicon/collection icon for History, also still grey).

Your totally right, the moment I attched the preview I realized I had frogotten to do that :( I'll make sure to update the pack asap.

Also, note that this won't actually fix bug 152292. That bug is about using an animated PNG for the progress spinner (APNG isn't yet implemented in Gecko, however).

The same as before but now with the correct three version of the history icon including the small one used in the bm manager.
