User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051107 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051107 Firefox/1.5 If a form with a long option element is placed inside a shorter div, when the user scrolls right, the option gets cut off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create form with really long option text 2. place in div of smaller width 3. click on option. Scroll right a bit and repeat. Actual Results: The option appears relative to the scrollbar in the div. So when the user scrolls further to the right, more of the option gets cut off. Expected Results: The option should always fit on the screen. Note: in Opera 8 and 9, the option always fits flush with the screen's left edge. In Explorer 6 though, the same effect as in Firefox occurs.

Confirmed. We'd have to not line up the popup with the select, which could be interesting....
