Please correct me if I'm wrong, if I seem to find that only text input is saved in form manager, but not textarea.

It's not once or twice, but several times, that I've lost a whole page of form data due to a myriad of reasons: network, timeout, bad server-side programming, etc.

Sometimes when I go back one page, the data are all erased.  Text input data are most of time recoverable, but not textarea data :(  It would be nice if this could also be saved.

If this suggestion doesn't please everyone, at least make it an option in Preference so that people can it on if they want.

Yes and no.  I don't see the advantage of saving checkbox/radio/selector selection.  But if you think it's a dup, you could dup this.

Yes, that bug is a bit broader in scope, but as your request is already mentioned as part of it, I'll go ahead and mark this as a duplicate.
