Thunderbird version 1.5 (20051201) - RC2 en-GB
As is shown in attached screen-shot, part of the dialog box is not visible for "Server Settings" in the acount manager. This only happens for POP accounts - IMAP is fine. This really doesn't look very good - blocking release?
I can't believe no-one else has seen this, but can't find it anywhere. Sorry if it's a dupe.
Confirmed : Amoun : I'm using WinXP SP2
In classic theme I can only see the top two pixels of 'Local Directory'
In XP deafult theme I can see the top half of the words
TB 1.5 UK : : Maybe it doesn't happen in the US version??

OK I'm with you here.
Amoun :)
I see the problem in both the UK release and nightlies (i.e. US), so I assume it is an underlying problem. As this is reproducable, confirming.

Current nightlies (version 1.6a1 (20060206)) seem to have this sorted. WFM?

This is probably deserving of a new report, but more recent nightlies - first noticed with (version 1.6a1 (20060302)) - do not show server settings or any other subordinate pages under the main account settings page at all for POP servers.
I can confirm it, using Thunderbird 1507 en, BUT: the problem arises only using Thunderbird thru MS Terminal Services, thus running it on a remote host, and logging in thru a TS window. Using a local installation, all is well. (tried it with brand new remote host PC as well. All have WinXP sp2 en, classic MS Window desktop.

Maybe have a way to change this userChrome.css, like Options window can :
prefwindow:not([id="JavascriptOptions"]) {
min-height: 400px !important;
min-width: 600px !important;
}
just an idea...

Chris: for me it helped to install the nightly build from 20060923. Well it took me a while to find this. As far as I remember, this build is not the published one, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, hope it helps. freddy
