This is a follow-up from bug 321643.

Fix checked in to trunk. Martijn, could you file another bug against Gtk? Linux
builds seem to show the same problem although it's milder there (single
mousemove only when the div appears).

asking for blocking.
note, schrep gave bug #408723 blcoking 1.9+, and I think this is the cause of that bug.

I'm not getting spurious move events from testcase in bug 321643. Is this bug fixed now?

Given comment 1 this should also block - if it is fixed please mark WFM

I don't see this on Linux/GTK+ 2 with current trunk either. Given Sylvain and I are both reporting WFM, I'll go ahead and mark this WFM. Martijn, if you disagree or are still seeing this, feel free to reopen.
