Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add Event. (File is blank)
2. Close Sunbird. (File is blank)
3. Re-Open Sunbird, Event still exists, but backup file is still blank.

Actual Results:  
\Sunbird\Profiles\ihp3wf49.default\Calendar\CalendarDataFile.ics stays blank (0KB).

Expected Results:  
\Sunbird\Profiles\ihp3wf49.default\Calendar\CalendarDataFile.ics contains one event.
All backup files live in {profiledir}/backupData.
