From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.7 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.14 i686) BuildID: 2000030321 I do not seem able to enter passwords when a login/password dialogue box pops up from a site. I enter my username without trouble; but I cannot even get a cursor. I don't know, but this might be related to bug 13213 (crash/assert from hitting tab in password box). The epixtech site is not the only one where I've run into this. The version of Mozilla I'm using I installed from the *.deb package available in Debian-frozen (2.2) right now (M14), so this might actually be an artifact from that, but I doubt it. This is also not a problem of just hiding text: if I enter the password, I just get return to the same dialogue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the site 2. Enter a user name 3. Click in "password" text-entry box. 4. Try entering a password. 5. Click "Ok" Actual Results: No cursor. After "Ok" the name/password dialogue re-appears. Expected Results: Cursor, so I could enter the password. Entry to the site. Debian 2.2 (potato: frozen). M14 installed from deb package.

This is fixed. Can you try a newer build? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 27295 ***

I think you accidentally resolved as a dup with the wrong bug; 27295 looks nothing like this. However, it's still a dup of 27784;
