software update and the installer should explicitly remove all of the palm sync related libraries. Since palmsync for 1.5 isn't going to act like a new extension (in profile\extensions), we need to remove these files from the application directory ourselves otherwise users will be left with stale palm libraries when they upgrade the app.
fixed for 2.0 and the next point release.
