I lack a few features related to threads
1. When I select the first message in a thread and delete it. It should delete all the messages in the thread. (I know there is an extension - Buttons - which allows this through a button, but it should be possible in all ways; drag'n'drop to Trash folder, keyboard delete and a delete botton/right click).
2. Same as above when moving (drag'n'drop, right click Move-to, right click Copy-to). E.i. when moving the first message in a thread move the whole thread.
3. The use of labels on threads. When adding a label to the first message in a thread (the root) is should label them all. I know some of the other bugs request that the root should indicate that a leaf message is labeled, so perhaps this behaviour should be configurable. E.g. label whole thread <> Label individual message.
I've search bugzilla, mozillazine forums and google withno luck except this: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=291811&sid=13b9af00b858d8e2fdc51ee702593591
Reproducible: Always

ctrl-shift-A, delete

ctrl-shift-A , and use the context menu

ctrl-shift-A, and use the context menu
Note: this isn't a support forum. This is a place to file *bugs* or enhancements (but wiki.mozilla.org might be better for the latter)

Thanks for the reply.
This suggestion I would characterize as a workaround. It does not do what I want. I want it to automatically select all messages in a thread (both colapsed and expended when I select the first message and move/copy/lavel it (in any possible way)). Naturally this should be configurable as not all people want this (e.g. it is impossible to move/copy/delete the first message in a thread). Working with the first message in a thread could be solved by pressing a key (shift) while doing it.
With regards to your last statement. I was not looking for support. I was unable to find the solution to my problems and determine to request an enhancement. Note I did not fill a bug. I filled a request for an enhancement as what I suggest - to the best of my knowledge - does not exists. Perhaps wiki.mozilla.org is better, but bugzilla also invites request for enhancements. As a user I must trust that it is ok to enter enhancements request in bugzilla.

For a collapsed thread, this is bug 286194. I don't think anyone is going to agree that selecting the first message in an expanded thread should select the entire thread, not even as an option. Note that you can click on the thread icon and select the entire thread, and use Ctrl+Click to select multiple threads -- if the thread is collapsed, it will be expanded by this action.

This is what bug 185801 is about, altho that is targeted at the suite.
As of TB 2.0, label is replaced by tag, but that has no bearing on this particular item. If you select the entire thread and apply a label or tag, it will be applied to everything you've selected; but the attribute is per-message and does not get applied to subsequent replies (bug 207124). (The only per-thread attributes you can apply are Watch and Ignore.)
As I noted at 185801, we would not want to discard the capability to label a single message, so that *has* to be accomplished by selecting the entire thread -- which brings us back to point 1.
