323616 - Thunderbird is not downloading the RSS feed just the headers

After upgrading to 1.5 I have not been able to read my rssfeeds.
The headers are downloaded but the content is not available I have removed the configuration completely and reinstalled but this does not fix the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open rss and add http://rssnewsapps.ziffdavis.com/tech.xml
2.then try and view the content
3.

Actual Results:  
No Content available

Expected Results:  
displayed the content of the feed

none

The 'feed file' you provided clearly shows that the content *has* been downloaded; the problem is, you're not seeing it.  I'm guessing you have set
  View | Message Body As | Plain Text
in which case this is a dupe of bug 264053.
