I think it should, as it makes it much easier to find entries in the root. Reproducible: Always
I prefer folders interfiled with individual bookmarks.

If you right click on "Bookmarks Menu" in the sidebar, you can "sort by name", which is the desired effect: everything sorted with folders then individual bookmarks. I think this is a WONTFIX or WORKSFORME
I guess so. Although it seems the main menu lost that option. I can sort individual folders, but I can't sort the root folder.
