User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060122 Firefox/1.6a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060122 Firefox/1.6a1 Sometimes one wants to share a link, which has as a bookmark, with someone but can't copy it directly, instead, one needs to open the page. A context menu "Copy Link Location" item on bookmarks items would fix this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060122 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2006012206 Can't you just right click on the bookmark, choose copy, then paste it to wherever you want? Certainly that works for me.
Severity: normal → enhancement
Even though it does work (thx!), IMHO, this isn't quite obvious, since the action Copy means Copy Bookmark (so I can paste it into another folder, etc.), but it doesn't imply the copying of the location. I'd suggest Copy just to copy (ie. like files), and Copy Location Link, as the name says.
And what's a bookmark, but an URL?
It isn't just an URL, a bookmark is a group of: name, location, keyword and description. At least in Fx.
I dont see why there should be two menu items that both do the same thing.
(In reply to comment #5) > I dont see why there should be two menu items that both do the same thing. > "Copy" would copy the bookmark, so you can paste it in another folder or something. "Copy boomark location" would copy just the bookmark location.

"Copy" does copy all the bookmark info, in case you want to duplicate it elsewhere in your bookmark folders. Paste of that same copy info will also only paste the URL if the paste operation is anywhere outside of bookmarks. No need to think about which info you want, it happens automagically. Thus no need to clutter the context menu with duplicate items.
