Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051229 Camino/1.0b2
Clearing the History in preferences clears the go menu correctly, but right-clicking on the Camino Dock icon still shows a small list of historical pages.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clear your history in preferences
2. Right click (or Ctrl+Click) on the Camino Dock Icon
3. Last visited pages are listed in the menu.
Expected Results:
The history list in the Dock Context Menu should be cleared as well.

The dock menu doesn't show history but rather, bookmarks (by default at least). Did you customize your dock menu to use history?
What happens when you switch your dock menu to use another bookmark folder and then switch it back to history?

Strange. Whenever I right click on the items in the left pane of bookmark manager (camino) and select "Use as Dock Menu" it has no effect. My Dock menu appears frozen in its current state.
This is a standard Beta 2 install with no particular changes. MacOSX 10.4.4 all updates. Would creating a new profile help?

It probably would, yes. But keep your old one around so we can figure out what happened.

I do not know how to create a new profile. I have tried using Terminal to browse into the .app and ./camino -p but this does not work as expected. The camino website and Google are very very thin on details. How do I create a new profile to test?

Your profile is located at ~/Library/Application Support/Camino . Simply close Camino, rename that folder and open Camino. Be sure to *rename* it (or move it) and not delete it as we'll want to see what was causing the problem.

New profile, did the following.
* Started Camino afresh. Dock Context Menu shows two sperators with nothing between. Bookmarks menu has the default cruft in it.
* Went to OSNews.com. Dock Context Menu shows no change.
* Bookmarked OSNews.com saving into the default place (Bookmarks Menu)
Context Menu still shows nothing though.
* Navigated to Planet.Mozilla.org. Dock Menu now shows OSnews.com between the seperators.
* Bookmarked Planet.Mozilla.org to default place.
Context Menu still shows only OSnews.com
* Navigated to Wiki.Mozilla.org, Dock Menu *still* only shows Planet.mozilla.org
* Open new tab, go to about:bookmarks, right click on History and select Use as Dock Menu. Dock Menu does not change.
* Soft restarted Camino. Dock Menu still says only OSNews.com
* Hard restarted Camino - Dock finally updates to both bookmarks personally added; but does not display all the other bookmarks that are already present in the bookmarks menu.
* about:bookmarks. Right click on Bookmarks Menu and select "use as Dock Menu". Hard restart Camino. Dock Menu now shows *all* bookmarks and not just the two I created personally.
Hope this helps.

The default dock menu is the top-10 smart collection, so not all of the behavior described is incorrect. Going to a non-bookmarked page will not have any effect on the menu, nor is it expected that you will see bookmarks that you've never been to.

This is a dupe of bug 300408. (See also the other bug that was duped to that one.)
