User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 When I read a newspaper article, I often want printouts. Many newspaper offer a "printer friendly" format, in which ads, pictures and such are removed and the narrow column form is converted to full page width. Often the article is slightly more than a full page. In earlier versions I could rescale the complete text to, say 80%, and it would then fit. When I do that on the current version the body text size doesn't change at all. The headers and footers, however, are rescaled. Other sources than newspapers don't seem to cause the problem Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.nytimes.com 2. Choose an article and clich on "Go to article" 3. At head of article, click on "printer friendly form 4. Under "File" menu, click on "Print Preview" (default is "shrink to fit") 5. Select 50% or smaller scale to observe the problem. Actual Results: Headline, footer reduced; body text remained the same size. Expected Results: It should have shrunk all the text of the article proportionally.
The body text scales in Print Preview when I remove 'p {font-size: 12pt;}' from http://graphics8.nytimes.com/css/page_type/article/print.css so this seems to be a duplicate of Core bug 264022 -> Core bug 205001. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 205001 ***
